Having your pet examined yearly may be one of the
most important things you ever do for your pet. We recommend a
comprehensive annual exam which may include an EKG, urinalysis,
CBC, Xray, ERD and General Health Profile screening for your
senior pet. Vaccination against contagious diseases is of great
importance as well. We can advise you what is best for your pet
but following are some guidelines:

Puppies
should begin vaccinations at 6-8 weeks of age, while
kittens begin at 8-10 weeks. Follow-up boosters are scheduled
at apprpopriate times followig your pet's initial visit. |

Dogs should be
vaccinated against Distemper, Hepatitis,Leptospira, Bordetella
(Kennel Cough), Coronavirus, Parvovirus, Rabies and Lymes
Disease. |

Cats
should be immunized for Feline Distemper, Feline Leukemia Virus,
respiratory viruses, Rabies and Feline Infectious Peritonitis. |

Cats
and dogs should also be on a heartworm preventative
and dogs should be checked yearly. Stool examinations for
intestinal parasites should be performed twice yearly for
