    Dr. Carlos E. Bonnot

Dr. Bonnot received his DVM from Texas A&M University and has more than 30 years experience practicing veterinary medicine in the Wharton area. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Bovine Practitioners, and the Society of Theriogenology. He and his wife, Wanda, are lifelong residents of Wharton.
 
   
  Dr. Cody Pohler

Dr. Pohler is a graduate of Texas A&M University where he received his DVM in 2007. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Consultants, American Association of Bovine Practitioners, and the Society of Theriogenology. Born and raised in Shiner, Texas, Dr. Pohler and his wife, Toni, live in East Bernard.
   
   
    Dr. James Morton

Dr. Morton is our newest team member at Wharton Veterinary Clinic, who joined our staff in 2008. He received his DVM from Texas A&M University in 2008 and his bachelor's in biomedical science from Texas A&M. He is a member of Texas Veterinary Medical Association and the Society of Theriogenology. He is originally from the Tyler area, where his father, Dr. John Morton, is also a veterinarian. Dr. Morton currently resides in Glen Flora, Texas.

Our dedicated team of health professionals has over 70 years of combined experience in the animal health field. Each staff member is dedicated to your pets' well being and preventative health care. Our staff is fully qualified in preventative medical treatment, consultation, routine checkups, surgical assistance, lab analysis, radiographs, dental procedures, and grooming. We encourage you to call our office with any questions concerning the care of your pet. We'll be glad to refer to your pet's file and provide current health care information.

     
Robert Newlin, Large Animal Technician and Maintenance Supervisor, resides in Wharton and joined the Wharton Veterinary Clinic team in 1992.
Lori Motl, Office Manager, resides in East Bernard and joined the Wharton Veterinary team in 1994.
     
Trina, Small Animal Technician, resides in Wharton and joined the Wharton Veterinary Clinic Team in 2001.
Martha, Small Animal Technician, resides in El Campo and joined the Wharton Veterinary Clinic Team in 2006.
     
Rachael, Small Animal Technician, resides in El Campo and joined the Wharton Veterinary Clinic team in 2007. Shannon, Receptionist, resides in Boling and joined the Wharton Veterinary Clinic team in 2008.    
     
Megan, Kennel Technician/Tech Assistant, resides in El Campo and joined the Wharton Veterinary Clinic Team in 2009. Bianca, Receptionist, resides in Wharton and joined the Wharton Veterinary Clinic Team in 2009.    
     
Jessica, Lead Technician resides in Louise and joined the Wharton Veterinary Clinic Team in August 2009.
Melanie, Kennel Technician/Tech Assistant, resides in Van Vleck and joined the Wharton Veterinary Clinic Team in 2010.
